this documentary 'Gurjieff shows us how a few mystic artist, like him and Herman Hess and others, in different ways helped open the west to eastern though, philosophy and ritual movement and dance. this helped understand the practice of yoga and helped with a growing interest in Eastern thought and practice. this film is free on You tube, i hope you like it,it shows early dance ballets put on by his own troop. i believe him, Madam Blavatsky and others opened the way to yoga as an excepted precise. Manly P hall was a great friend of my grandfather,the other audio tape i am showing you is the one of many videos put on by this mans from his free lectures.the practice these people introduce, and the philosophers, is not to preach religion, any religion as Girjieff points out, is allowed, but to practice with inner meditation of the public ability ,and to increase the life force.because of certain FUNDAMENTALIST religions we must all of a sudden keep reminding these folks we re not practicing religion but a practice that will enhance any spiritual practice.and that they are physical exerciser to help the body.it is not quite as wondrous as the movie, meeting with remarkable men,but it is very interesting, i do think it would nice to relax a few moments and watch it,. also it shows how under very trying times and conditions this man kept going and showed others the inner work on growth, awareness enhancing existence. he and Madam Helena Blavatsky and Many P hall,do all this traveling, learning and teaching and writing all on their own, under wars, epidemics, and upset, and keep to their truth and mission.a 'meeting with remarkable men'hope you are having a good thanksgiving,i am going to good my dinner a later day, am organizing my space and studying. it helps me to survive the terrible miss use of energy that is violation of privacy, by understanding the difficulties, that others went through before me,encourages me to keep going, i hang on with renewable energy for a better world, for all of us, HOPE Namastea!  nov 23 2023 note about you tube video
