I applaud Carol Anerson's incredible book'the second'. but as brilliant has her book is,and it is brilliant, there is a glaring flaw, i am part first nation, my people, while they were enslaving black people, they were using genocide on Native American folks! while the African American folks were facing horrendous and appalling conditions, Native Americans were often being slaughtered. the second amendment was so WHITE MEN cold openly carry and murder First nation people! as well as control the black population.my heart goes out to the terrible abuse of this woman and child,and needless death of this innocent man, it has happened all too often. the horror of African people being imported and treated as work animals, is indeed one of the most horrific ordeals of ANY folks in the history of the world,but it came out of not being able to USE the Native population of this country has workers, as 'raw natural wealth' there were several reasons for the WHITE Europeans not being able to exploit the Native American population,one was Native people had to be kept in chains,this is our land, our environment. we had established tribes, so it was harder to use native folks, and i pray here that i do not insult any Black people or Native people when i talk here openly about the appalling racism i have seen done all my life to First Nation peoples, but WE LOOK MORE WHITE THAN some BLACK PEOPLE! it was harder to justify the slavery of First nation people, and the children of such unions between white and native peoples,they look very much like white people ,often in 2 or 3 generations. also they were stealing our land so they went to genocide. the gun control was so white people could kill First Nation people and have NO repercussions! as terrible as the slavery was of African american folks, by their very adaptability and people of advanced civilizations, they were able to PROVE their value!! at least your ancestors HAD some value, the First nation people were simply people to get rid of! yes white folks Have always been terrified of black people arming, because African American folks are much more socially intellectually alike to white people than First Nation folks were! every day i thank GOD, for black lives matter, because our American African community as always been able to unite. because they were taken from their own villages they banded together ,my folks still spoke different languages than each other!the second amendment was not just to control black people,BUT to kill, often, on SIGHT, Native American peoples! and i fear we are seeing this ruthless racism play out in the violence our governments doing against our Mexican peoples in Los Angels.in Mexico native peoples were used more, as slaves, the so called 'AVERAGE' Mexican has 60% of their DNA being ingeniousness folks,30% is European, and a good healthy 10% is from Africa! the Catholic church,for all its terrible harm, at least recognized the Mexican native american folks as people, the Calvinist church in North American saw North America Indianans as animals.over time, i believe, the nobility of the American Black folks helped save the northern indigenous population, from complete elimination! Ms.Carol Anderson, thank you for your thoughtful well thought out book, and a blessing ON ALL supporting Black Lives Matter, as a person who is part native American,as a person that has seen terrible injustice to our first Nation,and Mexican neighbors, First Nation from the south, i am deeply grateful the lives you save, because 'black lives matter', taught US all lives matter!we must pass laws and live as if this not only is the truth, but for is the reality, for all races,sexes,sexual preference and religions, black people were not considered citizens. my people were considered the enemy! we still are fighting to get voters rights to all Mexican Americans and Native Americans! our strength as AMERICANS is our diversity! Go in Beauty all good people that believe in freedom, education, in democracy and rights for ALL people. i suffer everyday, my privacy being violated,the new slavery will not go on race, but on economic power, but all folks of color of course, are more at risk still to this day! my work, stolen,ruined, by fascist, made fascist and racist and sexist billions while i starved! go in beauty ALL truthers fighting for freedom for all folks!i must be paid soon,nuclear energy, toxic chemicals and and fossil fuels are killing the world, and nuclear is the greatest threat to life on earth of everything! i invented the phrase'Global Warming'[1973] i have been kept down from rape,stalking and,violence,murder, injustice, NO MORE! all too stop me as a person fighting the new slavery: violation of privacy, stalking by the RICH and POWERFUL!we must have freedom for ALL, even to see US being used by corporate and government, to even have a right to even have our own privacy and profit from our own work, art and labor,slavery is STILL GOING on and the fact that although i look white, but ! identify and i am part first Nation, it is not lost on those miss using this technology for slavery and mind control! we must all band together for freedom FOR ALL! to have any economy, survive truth,restitution, pay me my royalties,to Roberta May Hope Caster and my kids, goodness on all fighting racism, be honest,be be non violent demand an end to sexism,racism, and injustice!
